My name is SFC (Ret) James Goff, but you can call me Jay. I've had the privilege and honor of serving in all 3 components of the US Army for 26 years. Throughout my 40-plus years of experience in personal and leadership development, I've taken on various roles as a student, practitioner, instructor, coach, and leadership developer in both military and civilian settings.
I've dedicated myself to developing a program for transitioning veterans to help them thrive in their personal and professional lives beyond the military. I've also been a certified member, coach, trainer, and speaker with the John Maxwell Leadership Team since 2014, the world's largest #1 leadership and personal growth development organization in the world.
In addition to my professional endeavors, I share my life with my best friend and wife, Katrina, and our big and beautiful blended family, which includes 8 kids, 4 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 20 grandchildren. We own and operate Goff Enterprises LLC, committed to serving our veterans and active duty members.
As a life & leadership coach, I help my clients (henceforth “partners”) to grow beyond their expectations with a “N-BS” coaching approach. As a veteran myself, I understand the need to get past my self-imposed limitations, and that kind of approach is what works with my fellow veterans as well. A straightforward approach works everytime.
